The product

Northwind Studio is a hosted online service and account area. These terms form the agreement between you and Simple Stack.

Your right to use the service

While your account is active and you comply with these terms, you may use Northwind Studio for its intended purpose. Your content remains yours; you give us only the permission needed to process, store and display it to provide the service.

What you may not do

• Abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt unauthorised access to the service.
• Share credentials, use the service unlawfully, or upload content you do not have the right to process.

Delivery & payment

Web payments are processed by Stripe; native-app purchases may be processed by Apple or Google and managed under their store terms. Subscriptions renew at the interval and price shown at purchase until cancelled. You can cancel from the relevant billing or store-management screen and retain access until the paid period ends.

Updates and support

We intend to maintain and refine Northwind Studio and may release updates, but future releases, support response times and continued hosted availability are not part of the purchase unless we expressly say otherwise. Your licence is for the version you download. This does not affect our obligation to supply digital content that conforms to the contract when delivered.

Security and your deployment

No software can be guaranteed free from every defect or security vulnerability. You are responsible for reviewing, configuring, testing, securing and maintaining your deployment, credentials, hosting and third-party services. We are not responsible for problems caused by your modifications, configuration, hosting providers or failure to follow the supplied documentation.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or excludes liability where the law does not permit it, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or our liability for digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not business losses. If you buy wholly for business purposes, then, subject to the exclusions above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or business interruption, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for Northwind Studio.

Your cancellation rights

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing or app-store management screen; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections provided by the law where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts. If you buy wholly for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: support@example.com.
